Matthew Roessler, MS HRD, SHRM-CP, Director, HR Client Engagement

Matt Roessler, MS HRD is the Director of HR Client Engagement with PROXUS with over seven years of Human Resources experience.  Matt received his Bachelor of Arts from Muhlenberg College in Business Administration with a concentration in International Business.  More recently, Matt obtained his Master’s in Human Resources Development from Villanova University in early 2015.

Matt began his career in the banking industry as an HR Assistant, a role which quickly grew to encompass the full range of HR Generalist responsibilities.  Partnering with Technology and other business units, Matt developed and implemented a company Intranet and automated attendance calendar increasing efficiency and engagement across the organization.  His career then led to an HR Generalist role with a large engineering firm in Philadelphia.  There Matt was one of three HR personnel charged with providing support to the firm’s 900+ individuals.  Matt honed his skills in working with diverse business units, newly acquired employees, and remote offices, becoming a trusted advisor to both management and employees.

In his current role with PROXUS, Matt is responsible for leading a team of HR practitioners in support of varied tactical and strategic level HR efforts for a diverse client group spanning size and industry.  Focus is placed on weekly on- and off-site support including policy development, benefits administration, employee relations, payroll, recruitment and other HR related programs and practices.

Matt’s passion is employee relations and development, partnering with company management in an effort to develop individuals into high performers.  Matt seeks out creative ways in which to streamline HR operations and to engage employees, therefore enhancing communication channels, and by extension, employee satisfaction.
