PROXUS is proud to sponsor Ambler’s second annual Criterium Bike Race on Saturday, August 13. The day-long cycling event, presented by Zen Masters Racing, will attract hundreds of racers and spectators alike to Ambler borough.

Following the resounding success of last year’s event, which brought in 325 racers, 800 spectators and $700 in donation funds to local charities, this year’s event has grown to include races for all levels and ages.

Among those featured are multiple high speed 1.1 mile closed circuit bike races through Ambler Borough, kids short-distance dashes, a 1.1 mile sprint and, new this year, a 5K run, Beginner’s Bike Race, and Juniors bike races.  Racers will compete for more than $4,000 in prize money.

In addition to being an exciting day of fast-paced action, the event will also include streaming music, vendors, food trucks, and much more. Businesses located in the borough can expect to see an increase in sales during race day, and all net proceeds from the event will be donated to Ambler Main Street, Wissahickon Fire Company and the Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard, Inc.
